Neutral Server Rules

For games to be played on a neutral server, the following rules apply:
  1. The team captains should come to an agreement on a mutually acceptable neutral server. If they are unable to come to an agreement, they should mail the INL Council, which will decide where the game shall be played.
  2. Use the RESERVE command to reserve the server.
  3. To decide who is home vs. away, a coin toss is used. The captains should agree on who will call the toss, and the captain who is calling it should send mail to Tom Holub with his choice. Tom will flip the coin and mail both captains with the result. The winner of the coin flip gets to decide whether they want to be home or away.
  4. Before the game, the home team can request up to three (3) NEWGALAXY commands. The away team must grant these requests.
  5. After the galaxy is decided, team selection proceeds as normal. In the case of any disputes, mail the INL Council.
